Pimlico Trove is a London shop, based in Pimlico!  A brand new venture, this shop opened its doors on 21 September 2015.  After almost 20 years of running their own tour-operating business, the owners of Pimlico Trove, Elena and Richard, decided it was time for a change.  After so many years of office work, they liked the idea of something more engaging and creative, and fulfilled their long-held dream of running a local shop offering something a bit different from the High Street stores.

The inspiration for their name came from watching the 1940s comedy, Passport to Pimlico, in which the discovery of a treasure trove leads to a humorous chain of events including the independence of Pimlico from the United Kingdom.  So the name seemed fitting for a fiercely independent local business that aims to be a trove of beautiful products.

Elena says, ‘We have really enjoyed stocking our shop with products that we like and believe in, as well as meeting so many talented people from so many like-minded independent companies.’

Elena and Richard liked Giddy Sprite products at first sight, spotting them at their debut appearance at Top Drawer, Olympia in January 2015.  The products really stood out for their creativity and colourfulness of their designs, and they knew right away that these were the products they were looking for.   Like Giddy Sprite, Elena and Richard passionately believe in supporting small creative companies and are really happy to be able to stock such inspiring products that are designed and printed in the UK.

Although only recently opened, Pimlico Trove, Giddy Sprite products are already attracting good sales.  We wish Elena and Richard all the very best for a busy Christmas season 2015, and many years of business.  If you are in the area, do pop in and say hello.
